Spotify Users Can Now Submit Music Requests To DJ AI

JAKARTA Spotify introduced the DJ feature for Premium subscribers a few years ago. The use of this feature continues to increase so Spotify adds demand support.

Now, Premium users can create music requests in the DJ feature so they can set the atmosphere real-time. With the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI), this feature will offer new personalized tracks to re-play old favorite songs.

"Now you can ask DJs to update the personalized listening session based on the music you want to hear at that time," Spotify said via its official website. Users can still control all songs played by the DJ AI.

Users can set DJs according to their wishes, such as changing their nusik genres, requesting songs that match the current mood, requesting songs from the desired artists, or asking for song suggestions according to the activities being carried out.

Users can express their various ideas in the form of a text description or can use a query 'I'm surprised by some indie songs I've never heard of before' as a musical reference. Spotify also offers some other interesting queries.

"Now you can really talk to DJ X and ask for music that suits any mood or moment. It's a two-way road, bringing personalization to an entirely new level," Spotify explained.

Please note that this feature is not available in all countries. Only certain countries can use DJ AI on Spotify and Indonesia is not included in it yet. It is not yet known when Spotify will expand the feature to the Indonesian market.
