Several developers have succeeded in making their chatbots lighter so that they can be included in the messaging application. There are two third-party chatbots that can be used on WhatsApp, namely OpenAI's ChatGPT and Perplexity.
Users can access both of them live on WhatsApp without the need to download their independent application. ChatGPT has provided this capability for a long time, while the new Perplexity provides a special number for its chatbot.
OpenAI announced the ChatGPT integration on WhatsApp at the end of last year. To use the chatbot, users must save number +1 (800) 24-2-8478 into the contact list. Once the number is saved, you can chat freely.

Perplexity is the same, where users must save their chatbot number first. Perplexity CEO Arevind Srivinas revealed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the Perplexity AI number is +1 (833) 436-3285.
Users can talk to ChatGPT and Perplexity on WhatsApp as much as possible, such as chatting with friends. Users can discuss lightweight topics, go beyond questions, and ask these AIs to create images.
