JAKARTA Microsoft has launched an update for Windows 11, but this update is detrimental to a number of users. According to reports circulating, Microsoft accidentally removed Copilot from the device.

Operating system updates should improve device performance, add new features, and fix a number of problems. However, this time the user downloaded actually brings a bug that cannot be solved, unless Microsoft acts.

Microsoft always launches its monthly update patch for Windows 11 and the last update rolled out on March 11. Although this security patch manages to solve a number of problems, there's a bug that makes Copilot disappear.

Some users, citing from The Verge, say that this bug makes Copilot unable to be embedded in the taskbar and deleted. That way, affected users cannot use the virtual assistant based on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

It is not known exactly how many users were affected and how widely it spread, but Microsoft knows about this bug. There is no information the company conveyed on the Windows 11 update page.

"We are aware of the problem with the Microsoft Copilot app affecting several devices," Microsoft said. The company explained that improvements to the disappearance of Copilot were being worked on.

For now, affected users can reinstall thepilot app from Microsoft and embed the software manually. Once the deletedpilot problem is solved, users no longer need to manually embed Copilot.
