JAKARTA The Crew-10 expedition mission was supposed to be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on March 12. Unfortunately, NASA and SpaceX had to cancel efforts to launch the Crew-10 mission.
Based on a NASA report on its official website, the cancellation of this mission was carried out due to the problem of a hydraulic system in the arm clamping of a soil supporter for the Falcon 9 rocket. Even though it canceled its launch, NASA will change its launch window.
Both NASA and SpaceX have agreed on the latest launch window. Crew-10 will be launched on Friday, March 14 and the launch window will open starting at 6.26 WIB. The hope is that docking can be carried out on Saturday, March 15 at 10.30 WIB.
Before the launch is carried out, NASA and SpaceX will ensure that the Falcon 9 component does not experience any more system problems. NASA will also ensure periodic space weather conditions.

"The US Space Force's 45th Weather Squadron estimates a weather forecast of more than 95 percent, favorable conditions around the launch site. The team will also monitor weather conditions along the Dragon spacecraft's flight path," NASA said.
Overall, there has been no change in this expedition mission other than its launch date. Dragon planes will still take the four crew to the ISS, including NASA Astronaut Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA Astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos Cosmonaut Kirill Peskov.
Upon arrival at the ISS, the four crew will join the expedition team at the station. Furthermore, Crew-9 members will hand over their duties with the crew members who have just arrived. When the task shift is complete, Crew-9 will return to Earth.
