SMX01 is an AI-Ready data center designed to meet growing demand for digital infrastructure in Southeast Asia, which is targeted to be completed in the second half of 2026.
With an investment value of 300 million US dollars (Rp4.9 trillion) from SM+ and KIRA, this data center will have a hall white space data area of nearly 15,500 square meters, dedicated to hosting IT devices such as servers of up to 2,400 server shelves in 9 hall data.
Each hall data will later be able to accommodate up to 340 racks and can be adjusted to meet various requests, including for colocation services, hyperscales, as well as the needs for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications.
Built in the middle of Jakarta, precisely in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, the construction of the SMX01 is intended to become an Internet Exchange Data Center that will manage large amounts of internet traffic.
