JAKARTA OPPO is committed to continuing to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology on its smartphones. To achieve this commitment, OPPO is in partnership with Google.
Through this partnership, OPPO will integrate several applications on its phones with Google's AI Gemini. Apps that are certain to be integrated with Gemini are Notes, Calendar, and Clock.
Currently, OPPO is still focused on bringing Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash support to the OPPO AI Phones. The two companies also partnered in expanding Gemini 2.0 to various OPPO phone models, but it is not yet known when this version will roll out.
OPPO also plans to implement a Private Computing Cloud (PCC) system built with Google Cloud's Confidential Computing. This year, the system will be integrated into several AI features such as AI Search, AI Studio, and AI Call Summary.
