Samsung Galaxy A26 Officially Launches, Carrying Exynos 1380!

JAKARTA Samsung has just revealed the latest line from the Galaxy A series, with the Galaxy A26 as the most affordable model among its new lineup. Announced in conjunction with the Galaxy A36 and A56, this phone still carries some excellent features such as IP certified water resistance, long-term update support, large batteries, and advanced AI features. However, there are some compromises that users must receive. Here are the details of the specifications!

The Galaxy A26 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ resolution OLED screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, instead of using punch-hole designs like a more expensive model, Samsung chose a waterdrop-style notch, which was also found in the A16 and A06 models.

For photography, the Galaxy A26 is equipped with a 13MP front camera, while on the back there are three cameras, namely:

- 50MP (main camera) with OIS-8MP (ultrawide)- 2MP (macro)

In the performance sector, this phone relies on the Exynos 1380 chipset, which was also used in the Galaxy A35 last year. Available in the 6GB or 8GB RAM variant as well as storage up to 256GB, which can be expanded through microSD slots.

The Galaxy A26 carries 5,000mAh batteries, the same as A36 and A56, but with charging speeds slower in 25W.

Despite being the cheapest model, the Galaxy A26 still gets a commitment to software updates of up to 6 years, just like the more expensive variant. This phone runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 and features Samsung's newest AI, such as Circle to Search and Object Eraser.
