Koran Application.ai Gets A New Feature, Can Create Al-Qur'an Khatam Planning

JAKARTA During the month of Ramadan, Muslims will increase their worship by reading the Qur'an. To support the worship, Vocal.ai said that the recitation application had been updated.

Koran.ai is an application that is presented to answer challenges in the Koran. This application is supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology so that its features can be more interactive and can be used easily and comfortably.

COO Vocal.ai Vanya Sunanto said that her company has added several new features, one of which is the Al-Qur'an khatam planning feature. In addition, there is also a point system, ranking board, and interactive quizzes to motivate users.

"One of the flagship features is planning the khatam of the Qur'an, which allows users to set daily targets and receive automatic reminders to stay consistent in the Koran. In addition, the application's appearance is now more intuitive," said Vanya in her statement.

Based on data from the Ministry of Religion in the research of the Institute of Al-Qur'an Sciences (IIQ) in 2024, 72.25 percent of Muslims in Indonesia are still illiteracy in the Qur'an. Therefore, Koran.ai continues to be improved to help parents and children be smarter in the Koran.

This application utilizes the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology which can provide real-time feedback regarding tajwid reading and makharijul letters. With this feature, users can learn independently.

"We want to make sure that anyone, anywhere, can learn to recite the Koran easily. With the features we have developed, we hope to help more people reach their Ramadan resolution in increasing worship," said Vanya.
