HONOR Magic V4 Can Launch Early Than Expected

JAKARTA - HONOR seems ready to accelerate the launch cycle of their folding phones. According to the latest rumors from Chinese tips, Fixed Focus Digital, HONOR Magic V4 can be released earlier than usual schedules.

Based on the report, HONOR Magic V4 is likely to debut in late May or early June 2025. This is faster than its predecessor, HONOR Magic V3, which was officially introduced in China on July 12, 2024 and then launched globally at the IFA 2024 Berlin event.

The acceleration of this schedule is thought to be a response to increasingly fierce competition in the folding phone segment, especially with the presence of OPPO Find N5. OPPO will introduce Find N5 on February 20, 2025, and this device is said to be the world's thinest foldable phone, beating Magic V3 in terms of design and features.

HONOR Magic V3 is known as one of the best design foldable phones, but OPPO Find N5 brings a number of advantages, including:

With such specifications, OPPO Find N5 can be a tough competitor in the global market. It's interesting to see how HONOR will formulate a strategy to keep Magic V4 competitive.

Although there has been no complete leak, Smart Pikachu tipster said that Magic V4 will carry a 6,000mAh battery. In addition, this device will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is one of Qualcomm's newest flagship processors.

Just like its predecessor, Magic V4 is also expected to carry three rear cameras, as well as run Android 15 with a Magic OS 8.0 interface.

If these rumors are true, HONOR Magic V4 could pose a serious threat to its competitors, especially for OPPO Find N5. We'll just have to wait for further developments in the next few months!
