Nexmedicity, AI Powered Health Information System Provider, Achieves Funding From East Ventures

JAKARTA - Nexmedis, a Management Information System (SIM) provider with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for health care facilities based in Indonesia, has received undisclosed amounts of funding, led by East Ventures and Forge Ventures.

This funding will encourage the Nexmedic mission to revolutionize health care operations, improve clinical services, and improve patient health throughout Indonesia.

Founded in 2023, the Nexmedis combines expertise in business, technical, and medical to encourage healthcare innovation. The solutions offered by the Nexmedis also focus on integrating AI into the health care process.

Nexmedis presents SIMRS, SIMKlinik, and AI technology-based SIMPUS which can optimize the patient's end-to-end process at health facilities. In addition, Nexmedis is currently also in the development stage of AI-based transcription technology which changes voice recordings and summarizes conversations between patients and doctors into structured digital recordings.

Since August 2023, Nexmedis has served more than 400 health facilities. Nexmedis has established an official partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Information for the digitization of AI-capable health and leading institutions such as Gadjah Mada University.
