ASUS Officially Launches ROG Phone 9 FE, More Affordable Version Of ROG Phone 9

JAKARTA - ASSUS quietly released the ROG Phone 9 FE in Thailand, presenting more affordable options for gaming smartphone fans. This device has many similarities with the ROG Phone 8, including a typical ROG design, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and the AniMe Vision lighting system at the back.

Main Specifications and Features

ROG Phone 9 FE retains many premium features from the ROG series, such as:

- Screen 6.78 inches OLED 185Hz (FHD+, Gorilla Glass Victus 2) with a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, supported by GameCool cooling system.- 55,500mAh battery, with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless.- 50MP main camera (IMX890) with a stabilization game, 13MP ultrawide lens, and 5MP macro sensor.- 32MP front camera with RGBW filter for better results in light minima conditions.

Other features: Port 3.5mm, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, ROG UI based on Android 15, as well as various AI features such as transcription and call translation.

Prices and Availability

ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE comes in the 16GB/256GB variant and sells for $890 (IDR 14.4 Million) in Thailand. There is no information regarding the global launch yet, but this price is lower than the standard ROG Phone 9 which is priced at 999 US dollars (IDR 16.2 million).
