JAKARTA - Player First developers announced that the 5th Season of MultiVersus will start from February 4 to May 30, 2025. They also confirmed that this season will be the last update of the game.
"After careful consideration, the following season will be the final seasonal content update for the game," the developer wrote in its official announcement.

Through the announcement shared on its official website, the 5th Season of Multi Versus will present two new characters that can be played on the list, namely Aquaman from DC and Lola Bunny from Looney Tunes.
The two new characters will be accessible as Season 5 starts on February 4, with Aquaman characters through Battle Pass as first-degree prizes and Lola as a daily calendar login gift.
All online features will remain available until the 5th Season ends on May 30. After that, there will be an option to play MultiVersus offline through local game mode, either against AI or with a maximum of three friends.

It's starting January 31, 2025, transactions with real money will no longer be available for MultiVersus, meaning you can no longer buy Glaamium, but you can still use the rest of the Gleamium or character tokens to access in-game content until Season 5 ends.
In addition, when Season 5 ends, games will no longer be available for download via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, or Epic Games Store.
