Hedera, Cardano, And Dfinity Break Records In Blockchain Development Activities

JAKARTA - Three prominent blockchains namely the Internet Computer (ICP) from Dfinity, then Hedera (HBAR), and Cardano (ADA) became the network with the highest development activity in the last 30 days. Based on data from Santiment, Dfinity recorded 597.27 commitments on GitHub, followed by Hedera with 428.47, and Cardano with 426.17.

High development activities reflect the team's commitment to innovation and technology adoption. In addition to the top three, other blockchains that are also active in development include Chainlink, Starknet, Optimism, Polkadot, Kusama, Ethereum, and DeepBook Protocol.

A number of important updates occur in each ecosystem. Dfinity collaborates with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to support MSMEs globally.

Hedera was involved in a cross-border payment system trial by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and has the potential to launch a HUSD stablecoin that is in accordance with EU MiCAR regulations. Meanwhile, Cardano is preparing the Plomin hard fork, which will make it the first fully decentralized blockchain.

The increase in development activity coincided with the increase in the price of related tokens. The ICP rose 3.8% to 8.84 US dollars (Rp143,008), while its market capitalization increased 3% to 4.2 billion US dollars (Rp68.04 trillion).

Analysts project that the ICP price could reach 17.44 US dollars (Rp282,528) in the short term and 79.5 US dollars (Rp1.28 million) in the long term. HBAR and ADA also experienced a 2.1% and 3.3% price increase, respectively.

While it does not always have a direct impact on prices, high development activities show positive prospects for blockchain projects. The consistency of this innovation is expected to strengthen the fundamentals of the Web3 ecosystem and increase the adoption of blockchain technology in the future.
