Avanade Appoints Megawaty Khie As The New Managing Director Region

JAKARTA - Avanade, the world's leading Microsoft expert, appointed Megawaty Khie as the Managing Director Region for the new Southeast Asia, and will soon be effective in its position.

In this position, Megawaty will be responsible for boosting Avanade's business growth and expanding Avanade's position as the leading Microsoft solution provider in Southeast Asia.

Megawaty will also lead the Avanade team consisting of digitally skilled professionals and innovators across Southeast Asia, which combines global scale with local expertise, to create value and drive meaningful impacts for customers, ecosystem partners, and local communities in the AI era.

Based in Singapore, Megawaty will coordinate directly with Bhavya Kapoor, President for Asia Pacific, Avanade.

Regarding his appointment, Megawaty Khie said that he was very honored for the opportunity and appointment.

Megawaty also emphasized that she strongly supports the role of technology in unlocking human and business potentials, and which is no less important, to promote prosperity and socio-economic progress.

Prior to joining Avanade, he led the Channels and Strategic Partnerships for the Google Cloud business in Southeast Asia and launched the Google Cloud Region in Jakarta (Indonesia) during his tenure as Regional Director for Indonesia and Malaysia.
