JAKARTA - Apple CEO Tim Cook attended President Donald Trump's inauguration Monday, January 20 in Washington, DC through social media, he promised to continue to encourage innovation and employment for the United States.

In his post on social media, Cook said: "Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump and Vice President @JDVance on Inauguration Day. We look forward to working with this government to encourage innovation and jobs for future growth throughout our great country."

Trump claims that Apple plans to carry out a massive 'invest' in the United States in line with the start of its new term of office.

Cook is seen sitting in third behind President Trump and Vice President JD Vance, close to Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google. However, he sits apart from other big tech figures such as Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Sundar Pichai, and Jeff Bezos.

In addition, Cook donated 1 million US dollars (IDR 16.3 billion) for President Trump's inauguration. This donation was made on behalf of personal, not as a representation of Apple. In addition, major technology companies such as Meta, Microsoft, and Google also make similar contributions.

Cook was also present at the pre-occurrence traditional service at the St. John Church in Washington, DC, and attended the post-sonition lunch. At the lunch event, he sat with Donald Trump Jr. and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.

In a winning speech in Washington DC, Sunday night, Trump said that Cook had promised to make a massive investment in the United States because of our big win in the election.
