Kraken Launches NFT Marketplace On Polygon Network

JAKARTA One of the leading US crypto exchanges, Kraken, announced the official launch of the NFT Marketplace on the Polygon (MATIC) network. This decision will expand accessibility and attract NFT artists and fans to participate in the growing market.

With the Polygon blockchain integration, the Kraken NFT platform offers more than 250 collections that include well-known projects such as CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club. Kraken took this step taking into account the rapid growth of Polygon networks in NFT space.

In its announcement, Kraken explained that it has expanded the number of available NFT collections from 70 to more than 250. They also highlight integration with fast and efficient Polygon networks, as well as the popularity of the Reddit Collectible Avatars collection which can now be accessed via Kraken NFT.

However, it should be noted that Kraken also made headlines in February 2023 because it was reportedly being investigated by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding a possible breach of unregistered securities offerings.
