JAKARTA - Ubisoft has finally announced the release of the most awaited pirate game, Skull and Bones.

In a recent interview with True Achievement, game director Ryan Barnard expressed his hopes for Skull and Bones.

Skull and Bones is known to be released at the end of this year. According to Barnard, Skull and Bones will not emphasize the narrative too much.

Although the game has story elements, Barnard said that in Skull and Bones, the developer hopes that players can create their own adventures.

"Skull and Bones is not a narrative driven game. We have narrative pieces in the game, you will meet important NPCs called Kingpins who have their own stories which you will learn as you develop a relationship with them," said Barnard, quoted from Gamingbolt.

On the other hand, Ubisoft has said that they plan to support Skull and Bones for years after its release.

However, whether the game can last that long or not remains to be seen. To be sure, Skull and Bones launches on November 8th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Stadia.

As previously reported by VOI, Skull and Bones will offer PvEvP gameplay with solo and group play for up to three players.

The Standard Edition costs $60 for PC, and $70 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, providing the base game. The Premium Edition is US$90 (Rp1.34 million) for PC, and US$100 (1.49 million) for consoles.
