JAKARTA - Cybersecurity researchers at Kaspersky discovered a Trojan malware disguised as the James Bond film No Time to Die.

"Audiences rushing to watch movies make them forget internet security. Kaspersky discovered a number of phishing sites under the guise of watching James Bond films to steal important data from internet users.

The registration form, among others, contains credit card information. After completing registration, victims cannot watch the continuation of the film, however, some of their money disappears from being taken by online criminals.

Apart from losing money, victim data including credit card information is pocketed by cyber criminals.

Not only stealing, some of these malicious sites offer files that are said to contain the latest James Bond films, however, they actually contain malware.

Kaspersky found the file contained a Trojan that could access sensitive user data and a Trojan-PSW, which could collect victim login data and infect the ransomware.

In order not to be trapped by malware and scams, internet users are asked to watch the movie "No Time to Die" from the official channel.
