JAKARTA - The launch of the Apple iPhone 13 series mobile phone is a sign for the previous iPhone models that will experience changes in terms of price. For example, Apple is said to have lowered the price of the iPhone 11 model.

Several other changes such as the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone XR models have been discontinued from production. In fact, the Cupertino giant, United States (US) has quietly stopped selling and producing the iPhone SE with a 256GB variant.

Although this change has not been officially announced, a report from Gizmochina, Friday, September 17 shows that now the only device available in the official Apple store both offline and online is the iPhone SE with 64GB and 128GB storage.

Previously, the iPhone SE was equipped with a choice of three storage options, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. However, the phone still has the same price as before.

The 64GB iPhone SE model is priced at $399, while the 128GB model is priced at $449. It seems that the move can be attributed to the successor to the upcoming iPhone SE lineup

This is because the company is reportedly reducing production and shifting focus to the third-generation iPhone SE model, which is expected to launch next year.

As per reports, the iPhone SE 3 will be the cheapest 5G smartphone from Apple. Wrapped in the same design as the iPhone XR but brings some changes to the camera module.

The smartphone is expected to have a single camera sensor in line with an LED flash. In the kitchen itself, the phone will be powered by the A14 Bionic SoC that powered the previous iPhone 12.

For information, the iPhone 13 itself also doesn't have a 64GB storage option, and now the entry-level configuration starts at 128GB of storage. That means, that Apple's top-end model now packs 1TB of storage and the price goes up to $1,599.
