Double Up, Subsidized Fertilizer Allocation In South Sumatra Reaches 9.55 Million Tons

PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang, South Sumatra said the allocation of subsidized fertilizers was 9.55 million tons, a double increase from the previous year of 4.7 million tons.

SVP of the Internal Supervision Unit of Pusri Dian Permatasari explained that the increase in the allocation of subsidized fertilizers as an effort to support the agricultural sector.

"PT Pusri Palembang, which is a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), continues to boost fertilizer production, both subsidies and non-subsidized optimally. This activity takes place in several provinces, which are the responsibility of Pusri in distributing subsidized fertilizers," said Dian, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, May 17.

SVP of the Corporate Secretariat and Management of Pusri Indah Irmayani added, Pupuk Indonesia Group supports the production and distribution of subsidized fertilizers so that they run smoothly, on target, and are easily redeemed by registered farmers. As a BUMN that carries a mandate to support national resilience, Pupuk Indonesia is ready to fulfill the addition of subsidized fertilizer allocations and supervises the targeted distribution and redeem process to subsidized fertilizers down to the farmer's hands," he said. In line with the determination of Permentan's policy Number 01 of 2024 and Kepmentan Number 249 of 2024, Pupuk Indonesia has prepared a subsidized fertilizer stock of 1.4 million tons or reached 224 percent as of May 3, 2024. The addition of subsidized fertilizer allocation can be utilized by registered farmers or farmers who meet the criteria according to Permentan Number 01 of 2024, namely being incorporated in farmer groups and registered in the electronic plan definitive group needs (e-RDKK). In this new regulation, Electronic Group Needs Definitive Plans (e-RDKK) can be evaluated once every four months in the running year. In other words, farmers who have not received allocations can input the registration process on the evaluation process in the current year.

SVP Transformation Bisnis Agus Waluyo said this activity was at the same time to inform farmers who received subsidized fertilizers that additional allocations could be easily redeemed using Identity Cards (KTP) at official kiosks. "The fertilizer processing using this ID card can be done, because currently all official kiosks have been equipped with the i-Pubers application (Subsidized Pupuk Integration). Through the i-Pubers application, kiosk owners can verify the data through scanning the original ID cards of farmers, so that subsidized fertilizers can be obtained by farmers who are entitled to it easily," said Agus.
