JAKARTA - Twitter is re-developing its Spaces service. Now, the company is reportedly testing an easy way for users to find the Spaces account they might be interested in.

Users can also see if any of the accounts they follow are currently in the Spaces room at the top of the timeline, where the Fleets short video feature was previously perched.

"We're experimenting with ways to help you find more Spaces for some users on iOS and Android. If someone you follow is listening to Spaces, you'll see it at the top of the timeline," tweeted Spaces' official Twitter account as quoted by The Verge, Thursday, August 26.

Furthermore, users can also set who can see their activity in Spaces. Only by disabling the option allow followers to see which Space you are listening to in the Privacy and security menu.

However, disabling the option will not hide the user's presence in Spaces. This only applies outside of Spaces, when other users view it via the timeline. People in the same Spaces room can still see the whereabouts of the user who disabled this feature.

With Spaces' new set of features and capabilities, it's clear that Twitter wants to compete with Clubhouse. Recently, the microblogging network has also added a co-host position in the Spaces room to assist hosts during discussions or chats.
