JAKARTA - Samsung is preparing to launch its newest folding screen mobile device. The successor of the Galaxy Fold will carry a wider screen panel with a punch hole design.

Launching Tom's Guide, the leak of the new Galaxy Fold 2 design first appeared on the Twitter account @xleaks. Different from his brother, this folding screen phone looks more minimalist and has a bigger size.

The biggest change can be seen from the placement of the notch or bangs, which become smaller by carrying the punch-hole design or one circle as the front camera housing. This makes the screen display wider, with the main screen measuring 7.7 inches QXGA + Dynamic AMOLED.

Thanks to the Infinity Flex Display technology, this Samsung device can be opened and closed like a book. With a screen size that is larger than before, Samsung presents a multimedia experience that is different from other competitor products.

A striking change to the external screen of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Unlike its predecessor, the external screen of the Galaxy Fold 2 is made slimmer and longer. It is suspected that this screen panel will function as a viewfinder to display call notifications or chat application icons.

The camera sector has also undergone a change from the design leaks that had previously circulated. Samsung still carries a camera configuration with two lenses, a slight decrease from the previous rumors, which said that the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a quad-optic module.

Another rumor says that Samsung will produce a variant of the Galaxy Fold 2 folding screen cellphone at a cheaper price. Reportedly this phone will be sold with a price range ranging from 1,780 to 1,880 US dollars or around Rp. 25 million.
