Ariana Grande Ft. Lady Gaga To Concert At Fortnite Game Next Month

JAKARTA - International diva Ariana Grande will soon be holding a concert in the game made by Epic Games, Fortnite. The event, dubbed the Rift Tour, will be held August 6-8.

Although Epic has not officially confirmed it, but so far, all the leaks point to Ariana Grande. Leakers have been saying it for over a week, and documents revealed through Epic's court battle with Apple also detail plans for an in-game event to feature Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga.

Quoted from TechCrunch, Friday, July 30, in an announcement posted on its official Twitter account, Epic invites all players to take a musical journey into a magical world. A new reality where Fortnite and the popular superstar will become one.

Players can login to their Fortnite accounts to check out the new Rift Tour-themed missions and rewards now. This coton-candy colored event will offer a special loading screen and fluffy cloud kitty emoticons, among other digital gifts.

Like at the Travis Scott event, Fortnite will host five different showtimes over three days to make it easier for players to catch on.

Since Epic is calling its latest virtual show a tour, that means Ariana Grande won't be performing alone. The appearance of Lady Gaga is also predictable, because Epic previously had plans for Gaga to perform at a concert in December 2020, but it never materialized.

Kanye West is also set to release his new album on August 6th, but it looks like Epic won't be partnering with West given the recent controversy.

However, Epic said they'll be announcing more details to share on Monday, August 2, so Fortnite players will have to wait for more clues or an official announcement on who's going to be featured.
