Tesla Vision, Delivers Autopilot Technology With 360-degree Camera Analysis

JAKARTA - Tesla will soon launch a new Autopilot System technology. This new technology includes new features capable of detecting turn signals, as well as hazard lights, emergency vehicle flashes, and certain hand movements, such as cyclists.

The aim of the new program is to help cars react in the best way to various emergency scenarios that can occur at any time on the road.

Tesla's advances were made possible by the integration of a new system, called Vision, into the automated driving system. Thanks to all the cameras built into the vehicle, such as a virtual neural network, Tesla Vision analyzes the vehicle's environment in 360 degrees so it can "see" almost everything that is happening around the vehicle.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that the system will soon be able to detect turn signals or even the flash of emergency vehicles in the vicinity, so the car can detect all current and upcoming events on the road.

In this way, self-driving cars will come closer to actual human behavior, in terms of driving with an ever-alert "eye". It can also help avoid certain accidents, which can still occur in Autopilot mode.
