Google Pixel Fold Phone Confirmed Coming This Year

JAKARTA - The latest mobile phone series made by Google, always grabs the attention of the public. The reason is not only a unique design, the specifications that are brought are also enough to make it superior, such as the foldable Pixel series. The latest report, the phone will be launched this year.

This news was first revealed by the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Ross Young, who confirmed a few days ago that the foldable Pixel is likely to arrive this year.

Dubbed Pixel Fold, which is an unofficial name, Google claims it will use an Ultra Thin Glasses (UTG) display, supplied by Samsung. Although its presence has been confirmed, the Pixel Fold is not the only phone that Google is developing.

More surprising, the same source also mentions there will be a Pixel Roll. This phone will have a screen with a display that can be rolled up. Unfortunately, this phone won't be arriving anytime soon, not even until next year.

It has been widely rumored that starting next year the global market will be filled with mobile phones that carry the concept of a roll screen. Several concept phones from various vendors other than Google continue to be revealed on social media.

Previously, there was the LG Rollable which was supposed to launch this year, but that won't be possible as the company has closed its smartphone business. Meanwhile, Samsung is expected to announce a phone with a foldable screen concept next year.
