JAKARTA - Oppo Indonesia has added a new product to the A series line. Named the Oppo A16, this phone is the successor to the Oppo A15 which was launched in November 2020 in Indonesia.

Aryo Meidianto as PR Manager of Oppo Indonesia revealed that this new hero is equipped with a number of advantages. Like a large capacity battery that promises longer endurance.

Not only that, Aryo also stated that the large capacity battery that has been implanted does not sacrifice appearance. So, this latest mid-range phone still looks sleek and stylish.

"With a large 5000 mAh battery, the Oppo 16 can still look slim and stylish but still provide a sense of comfort for users not to worry about running out of power," said Aryo in a written statement, Monday, July 12.

On the front, continued Aryo, the latest Oppo HP is coated with an IPS LCD panel with a width of 6.52 inches. The screen is capable of producing graphics with HD Plus resolution.

The company has also added an Eye Care Display feature on the Oppo A16 screen. This feature serves to protect the eyes from the effects of new light.

At the top of the screen, there is a waterdrop-shaped bang. This notch on the front screen wraps an 8MP-capable front camera. To make the photos even more stunning, the company has also added a number of advanced features to this camera.

Turning the device, the back of the Oppo A16 is decorated by a rectangular module. Inside the module, there are three rear cameras. Each has a 13MP wide main lens, 2MP portrait lens, and 2MP macro lens.

The innards are also not spared from the increase. The Oppo A16 relies on an entry-level gaming chipset from MediaTek. Namely the MediaTek Helio G35 series. Combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the Oppo A16 is tougher for various activities and needs.

If the user still feels lacking, you can also add external storage in the form of an SD card on this device. According to Aryo's explanation, the Oppo A16 supports the operation of external storage up to 256GB.

Aryo said that the Oppo A16 model in Indonesia is available in two color choices. Namely Space Silver and Crystal Black.

Meanwhile, for the price of the Oppo A16, the plan will be priced at Rp. 2 million. Aryo also revealed that the Oppo A16 will go on sale in mid-July and will be available in all Oppo Store networks in Indonesia.
