OPPO ColorOS 12 Features Leaked, It Will Be Launched In August

JAKARTA - Chinese mobile phone manufacturer OPPO has successfully created its own interface, Android-based ColorOS 11. And now it is hoped that ColorOS 12 will launch by the end of the year. However, the latest reports say it will arrive in August.

Cited from Gizmochina, Wednesday, June 30, a Weibo user with the username Jú chǎng yǐng yè Fans gave a little leak, later ColorOS 12 will be the best from the company. That's thanks to the team that developed it.

He stated that ColorOS 12 will combine the best features of other Androids, which rely on the smoothness and design of the Meizu Flyme, as well as the Smartisan OS and HydrogenOS features.

The question is, how can OPPO achieve this? According to Jú chǎng yǐng yè Fans' post, ColorOS 12 is being co-developed by a team consisting of the original ColorOS team, Flyme team, Smartisan OS team, and HydrogenOS team.

OPPO recently also hired Zhu Haizhou, a former product manager at Smartisan to join its software development team. It was previously known that the HydrogenOS team will indeed be combined with OPPO's ColorOS team now that OnePlus is a sub-brand of OPPO.

It is also reported that OPPO has recruited several Smartisan and Meizu employees. So the information disclosed by Jú chǎng yǐng yè Fans can be claimed to be quite accurate.

To substantiate this information, a fairly reliable leaker from China, Digital Chat Station also revealed that ColorOS 12, which will be based on Android 12 has some HydrogenOS features. He also stated that there have been major changes to the UI and it's already at the internal testing stage at this point.
