"For this reason, we chose Telkomsel as a trusted partner in supporting these efforts by providing 5G technology-based solutions to accelerate the digital transformation of our smart factory in Batam," said Sutarhadiyanto.
Through the signing of this memorandum of understanding, Telkomsel - Schneider Electric will run several 5G utilization programs in the industry. First, presenting a live streaming virtual tour feature of Schneider Electric's smart factory in Batam so that global partners can visit smart factories from various parts of the world.
Second, presenting the EcoStruxureâ„¢ Augmented Operator Advisor technology in the form of implementing augmented reality using a device (tablet) connected to a 5G network to assist technicians in remote maintenance activities.
Third, the application of the EcoStruxureâ„¢ Machine Advisor system that connects IoT connected products (sensors & drives) with online dashboard monitoring machine fleet management, so that the production process can be monitored in real-time through the available dashboards.
