JAKARTA - Avonetiq, a digital authority company, launched AVO AI. The tool was developed to help businesses monitor the presence of their brands in Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems.
Currently, consumer behavior is beginning to shift. If previously people always asked search engines like Google, now they rely more on AI-based chatbots like ChatGPT and Gemini.
This habit makes the position of a product not only determined by the ranking on Google search pages and other search engines. Brands will depend heavily on how often the AI system makes recommendations to users.
Seeing this shift, Avonetiq also presents AVO AI with the domain getavo.ai. The company believes that the tools they develop can help overcome challenges in the world of digital marketing.
AVO AI is claimed to be able to analyze the reference sources used by AI to compose answers. In addition, business actors can directly compare their brand positions with competitors.
"We see that there is a gap in the market regarding tools to measure visibility. So how to measure a brand whether it is out in AI or not when asked," said Co-Founder and Partner of Avonetiq Alexandro Wibowo on Friday, May 5 at the IDMC event. "That's why we made the tools based on the experience and research we have done."
This trend shift is predicted to continue to soar. According to research firm Gartner, the volume of conventional search engine use will decline by 25 percent by 2026 as people prefer chatbots as their main source of information.
Adobe Analytics data also reinforces the projection. Traffic from generative AI platforms to retail sites jumped by 1,200 percent in just seven months. This figure shows that AI has become a new option for consumers in shopping.
Through AVO AI, companies can see how their products are represented by various AI models. They can measure, monitor, and improve brand presence on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
"We want to add some more (AI models) like Kimi and Co-pilot," said Avonetiq Co-Founder and Partner Ryan Gondokusumo. "The plan is this year, we will move quickly."
