JAKARTA, KOMPAS - Motorola is once again enlivening the premium mid-range smartphone market with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro in India. This device carries a combination of high performance, advanced screen, and large battery to attract users who are looking for a balance between price and features.

In terms of appearance, the Edge 70 Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch pOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness level is claimed to reach 5,200 nits, supported by HDR10+ and 10-bit color depth, as well as Pantone certification for color accuracy. In practice, this is not just a "smooth" screen, but also sharp and vivid - scrolling TikTok feels like a cinematic experience.

In the kitchen sector, this device is powered by the Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The operating system immediately runs Android 16, with a commitment of three years of OS updates and five years of security patches - a number that is starting to become a new standard in this segment.

For durability, Motorola embeds a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. This combination places the Edge 70 Pro as one of the devices with a large battery capacity in its class, as well as fast charging that is relevant for high mobility.

In the camera sector, the approach is quite aggressive. The three main cameras rely on a 50MP sensor, including the main camera with OIS and an ultra-wide that also supports macro mode. Motorola is also rumored to be preparing an advanced variant, the Edge 70 Pro+, which is predicted to be launched in the near future.
