JAKARTA - Blaize Holdings, Inc (Blaize), a global company in the field of AI computing, together with PT Datacomm Diangraha (Datacomm), a leading IT service provider in Indonesia, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the potential of AI inference solutions.

The signing was carried out in a ceremony at Gitex Asia 2026, Singapore, as an initial step in the commitment of the two companies in encouraging the more applied use of AI in the Indonesian market.

Indonesia is one of the fastest growing AI markets in Asia Pacific. The entry of global hyperscalers, the development of sovereign digital infrastructure, and the expansion of enterprise technology are accelerating the adoption of AI in various sectors.

The Empowering Indonesia Report 2025 from Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Twimbit states that sovereign AI has the potential to contribute up to US$140 billion to Indonesia's GDP by 2030, with an annual economic growth of 6.8%.

"Asia Pacific is currently at a crucial point in the development of AI inference, and Indonesia stands out as one of the main contributors to this growth," said Blaize Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dinakar Munagala.

Through this MoU, both companies plan to explore a number of areas, including:

AI Inference as a Service on DCloud

Integration of the Blaize Hybrid AI platform with DCloud (Datacomm cloud service), and Datacomm data center infrastructure to provide scalable inference services for enterprise customers.

Physical AI, Public Safety, Surveillance, and Logistics

Development of AI inference use cases such as video analytics, smart surveillance, physical security enhancement, and logistics optimization in the public and enterprise sectors in Indonesia.

Industrial AI

Utilization of AI inference for industrial automation in Indonesia, including computer vision and sensor-based technology.

"Together, we are exploring how Blaize's programmable and energy-efficient AI platform can deliver real-world value, from public safety, smart infrastructure, physical AI, to logistics across Indonesia," said Dinakar.

Meanwhile, President Director and Founder of Datacomm, Tan Wie Tjin, emphasized the company's readiness to welcome the AI era. According to him, Indonesia is on the verge of a significant AI transformation, and the need for intelligent, scalable, and secure inference solutions continues to increase in every sector we serve.

"This alliance with Blaize is a natural and exciting step in our journey towards the AI era," added Wie Tjin.

This MoU is non-binding and serves as an initial framework for cooperation. Both parties can proceed to concrete projects through subsequent agreements in the future.
