JAKARTA - TikTok has secretly added a hidden game within the Direct Messenger (DM) feature. Users can now play a simple dexterity game through emojis sent in the chat room.
TikTok's move to launch this feature is similar to the strategy Instagram has been implementing for the past two years. The platform under the Meta umbrella also launched an emoji game, just with a different game concept.
On Instagram, the emoji will turn into a bouncing ball and users will have to hold the emoji with a small board that is moved. Meanwhile, users will see the same screen display and the sent emoji will not be the main object of the game.
Users are invited to reflect the ball upwards past the crocodile board and the emojis sent in the work chat room as a booster. Users must avoid the crocodile frame and be careful of broken footholds that will disappear after being stepped on once.
