Jakarta - Rumors about the folding iPhone are heating up again after a technology leaker claimed that the device would not use the name iPhone Fold. According to the latest leak, Apple will instead call it the iPhone Ultra.
The information comes from a whistleblower account named WayLabs on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. In his post, he said that the device that has been known as the iPhone Fold is actually just an internal name before it was finally marketed as the iPhone Ultra.
If this rumor is true, the Ultra iPhone has the potential to be the most expensive iPhone Apple has ever sold. WayLabs claims the initial price of the device will be above 1,500 US dollars (Rp25 million). For the highest specification variant, the price is even said to be able to exceed 3,000 US dollars (Rp50 million).
That price would put the Ultra iPhone well above Apple's current premium line-up such as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

However, the credibility of this leak is still questionable because WayLabs is a relatively new leaker. Previous reports from the account only appeared in February 2026 and were related to camera improvements on the next generation of iPhones.
