This announcement came as a shock to the public. In this case, China has preceded other countries in procuring technology infrastructure for the next generation of 5G, namely 6G.

CNIPA reports that China already has many patents related to the 6G technology. In total, they claim to own 35 percent of the world's total of 38,000 patents related to 6G, as reported by The Sun, Wednesday, June 2.

In the second position, there is the United States which already has 6G patents by 18 percent. In addition to the two giant countries, the European Union also claims to be developing a 6G network to be applied equally to all countries in Europe.

6G technology reportedly has a speed 100 times faster than the 5G generation. In addition, 6G technology is also claimed to be able to be used in the depths of the sea and in outer space.

On 5G technology alone, the download speed of large films can be completed in just a few seconds. He can also help the electric car industry in providing self-driving services. When 6G technology is present, it is predicted that it will take the technology industry to a higher level.

It doesn't stop there, 6G is also claimed to be able to support the military, AI, and so on with higher capabilities than the 5G technology era.

It seems that China is focusing on the development of 6G-based artificial intelligence. The reason is, in the patents mentioned by CNIPA, China also owns 75 percent of patents related to AI technology.

That means, currently China is the leading country in the development and mastery of 6G technology. This achievement surpassed the United States and a number of other developed countries.

Currently, China is reportedly reducing its dependence on technology from the United States and Europe. They plan to cooperate with technology companies from neighboring countries that have invaded them, namely Japan.
