JAKARTA - Honor is again expanding its flagship mobile phone line by launching the Honor X6d in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This device comes as a 5G smartphone with a pocket-friendly price, carrying the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 50MP main camera.

Honor X6d carries a 6.75-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720+). The design is simple, targeting the entry-level user segment who wants 5G connectivity without having to dig deep into their pockets.

In the performance sector, this phone is powered by a 6nm-based MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset that supports 5G networks. The processor is combined with 4GB RAM and 256GB internal storage that cannot be expanded via a microSD card.

For photography, Honor equips the X6d with a 50MP main camera on the back that is capable of recording video up to Full HD resolution 30fps. Meanwhile, on the front, there is a 5MP camera for selfie and video calling needs.

In terms of software, the Honor X6d immediately runs Android 15 with the MagicOS interface. However, there is no confirmation whether this device will get an update to Android 16. Information regarding the existence of a fingerprint sensor is also not listed on the official page of the UAE store, so it is likely that the feature is not available.

Durability is one of its selling points. Honor embeds a 5,260mAh battery, slightly smaller than the Honor Play 60A which carries a 5,300mAh battery. For connectivity, this device supports dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

In the UAE market, the Honor X6d is priced at AED 509 or around 138 US dollars. This phone is available in Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan color options. Honor is not expected to market this device in regions such as the United States
