JAKARTA - Oppo officially confirmed the launch of the Oppo K14x 5G which is scheduled to take place on February 10 in India. Ahead of its release, Oppo has opened a special microsite on Flipkart and Oppo India's official website which reveals the design, color options, and a number of the device's main specifications.
In terms of design, the Oppo K14x 5G carries a flat screen with a punch-hole front camera in the middle. On the back, there is a dual camera module arranged vertically, giving a simple and modern look.
For the screen sector, the Oppo K14x 5G is equipped with a 6.75-inch HD+ panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This screen has a peak brightness level of up to 1,125 nits, so it is expected to remain comfortable to use outdoors. Oppo also embeds the Outdoor Mode 2.0 feature and an improved heat management system to maintain visual quality when used for a long time.
This mobile-powered kitchen is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and runs the ColorOS 15 operating system. Oppo promises long-term optimization through the Fluency Protection feature for up to 48 months. In addition, the use of UFS storage with higher read and write speeds is claimed to be able to increase the speed of opening applications and overall system response.
In the power sector, the Oppo K14x 5G carries a large battery with a capacity of 6,500 mAh which is supported by fast charging 45 watts. This combination is designed to support full-day use, ranging from navigation, watching videos, playing games, to phone calls.
For photography needs, this phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera supported by various artificial intelligence-based features, such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover. Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the side of the body and IP64 certification which provides protection against dust and water splashes.
Oppo K14x 5G is rumored to be priced in the range of 15,000 rupees or around Rp2.8 million. This phone will be available in two color options, namely violet and light blue. Until now, Oppo has not confirmed whether this device will also be marketed outside India.
