JAKARTA - Japanese company, Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No.1, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NeutraDC to build cross-country data center connectivity.
Through this cooperation, Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No.1 and NeutraDC will build an Asian network hub connecting Hokkaido Ishikari, Indonesia, and Singapore.
In addition, this cooperation is targeted to be able to attract data center tenants and GPU users from Singapore and Indonesia to the Hokkaido Ishikari region, Japan.
Under the agreement, NeutraDC will provide colocation services at its data centers in Singapore and Indonesia for users of Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No. 1.
In addition, Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No.1 will connect the NeutraDC data center in Singapore and the data center facility in Japan through the All-Photonics Network (APN) Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN), which is scheduled to start operating in August 2026.
In this cooperation, Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No.1 will support NeutraDC's plan to utilize its data center facilities, while exploring opportunities to build new data centers in the RE100 zone in the Ishikari New Port area.
NeutraDC and Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No.1 will also jointly develop and promote GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) business across the country by combining their respective advantages.
NeutraDC will play a major role in the GPU system architecture as well as the development and operation of AI computing services, with the aim of bringing Neutra Compute to Hokkaido Ishikari.
Meanwhile, Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No.1 will provide and support the construction of infrastructure and customer development for implementation.
