JAKARTA - Apple is expected to update its iPad line throughout 2026, ranging from adding an M4 chip to the iPad Air to deliver better performance to the use of the A19 chip previously used for the iPhone.

With the arrival of this new series of devices, you will get more iPad options based on performance and price. Here is the series of iPads that are expected to be released this year, launching from 9to5mac.

iPad Air M4

The latest iPad Air is expected to arrive in March with one of Apple's most anticipated computer chips, the M4. This chip promises performance improvements of around 10 to 20 percent faster than the previous generation.

In addition, the iPad Air M4 has the potential to adopt Apple's C1X modem which supports more stable connectivity. This device will be supported by Wi-Fi 7 and is expected to bring new color options for customers.

iPad A19

Apple is reportedly bringing a standard version of the iPad with an A19 chip. The use of this chip will make the price of the standard iPad more affordable. Although it does not use the 'M' chip line, the chip will bring Apple Intelligence to the cheap iPad for the first time.

This device is expected to be available in the first half of this year. It is not known whether the iPad with the A19 chip will be released at the same time as the iPad Air which adopts the M4 chip.

iPad Mini A19 Pro

Next, Apple will present the iPad Mini with a number of updates, one of which is the use of a chip that supports Apple Intelligence. The company will use the A19 Pro chip which is believed to be powerful.
