A15 Bionic Chipset For IPhone 13 Ready For Production

JAKARTA - Apple's brand-new M1 chipset is currently the fastest mobile processor on the market. No doubt, these processors are a hot topic of conversation among technology enthusiasts of the company.

Not a few expect Apple to use these processors for the latest generation of iPhones. Quoting Wccftech, Thursday May 27th, TSMC has started production for the A15 chip, which will power the iPhone 13 lineup.

The SoC will still use the same 5nm fabrication technology as the A14 Bionic, Apple's previous chipset, but uses refined techniques. Of course, when it comes to the A15 Bionic SoC, we can expect a sizeable performance boost from the A14 Bionic.

Accordingly, Apple is said to be shipping 4nm chips in 2022. Apple's custom silicon chip has helped it to remain a leader in smartphone and tablet performance, and recently Apple has transferred this intellectual property to Macs with the M1 chip.

Assuming mass production of the A15 Bionic has started, that would give Apple the edge regarding the launch of the iPhone 13. The Cupertino-based company is reportedly to unveil the iPhone 13 family at the end of September.

For your information, fans can expect the presence of four iPhone 13 models. This means that Apple will still include the iPhone 13 mini, where we know that sales of the iPhone 12 mini are less soaring than the iPhone 12 Pro Max variant.

Unfortunately, there is still no further information on whether Apple will use their M1 SoC on iPhone devices or not in the future.
