JAKARTA - Coursera, a leading global online learning platform, has released a 2025 learning trend for Indonesia that shows the enthusiasm of the people who are getting stronger to improve skills, especially in the fields of technology, business, and language.

Indonesia recorded one registration of the GenAI course every seven minutes double from the previous year, which was one every fifteen minutes and now reaches more than 120,000 registrations at Coursera.

"The Indonesian people continue to build digital and professional skills that open up wider and more sustainable career opportunities," said Ashutosh Gupta, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Coursera in a statement Wednesday, December 10.

The increasing number of Indonesians who study AI is in line with their desire to remain relevant to AI developments. Apart from AI, Indonesians also learn a lot about cybersecurity, project execution, digital marketing, finance, and various languages.

This diversity shows that Indonesian workers are building more comprehensive skills to deal with the increasingly common cross-function roles in the world of work.
