Splitgate 2 Officially Re-released As SPLITGATE: Reloaded Arena, Released December 17

JAKARTA - Developer 1047 Games officially announced that the project previously known as Splitgate 2 has now evolved to SPLITGATE: Arena Loaded.

A free-to-play game is scheduled to be released on December 17 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows), PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

In this latest version, all elements such as factions, character abilities, and some equipment from the Splitgate 2 concept were removed in order to create a cleaner and more competitive fighting experience.

"With the SPLITGATE: Reloaded Arena, our goal is to bring this nuance to the new generation while maintaining its freshness for the players we have been with from the start," the developer wrote in an announcement on its official website.

SPLITGATE: Reloaded Arena presents various major improvements, including a new progression system, Classic Arena mode, as well as additional features that many players ask for such as Select Mode, player statistics, ranking board ranking, and account level.

The game also introduced 5 new maps and 6 reshuffled arenas, bringing the total map now to 20, as well as presenting three new LMG weapons and Railgun iconic Power Weapon weapons.

1047 Games said it would reveal more details in the weeks leading up to launch, via blogs and video explanations. SPLITGATE: Reloaded Arena will be available for free on December 17.
