Google Indonesia Communication Manager, Feliciana Wienathan, highlighted that Eastern Indonesia's culture and voice are increasingly occupying important spaces in digital conversations of the Indonesian people.
"We see that the voice of Eastern Indonesia is increasing, the more appreciation it is. That's why we see Eastern culture or the voice of Eastern Indonesia is quite good at top trending this year," Feli said at the Year in Search 2025 event on Thursday, December 4 in Jakarta.
In addition, the second most prominent trend in this year is also related to learning needs. Feli explained that the Indonesian people are not only seeking general knowledge, but want to master something.
"What's different this year is learning or controlling or controlling how we can lead or control in the digital era. For example, how to mention Qris or Galimax," he explained.

Meanwhile, the trend of artificial intelligence (AI) in people's daily lives has also increased. Feli said that AI is no longer just a trend bubble, but a real part of a digital lifestyle.
People are actively looking for ways to use AI to increase creativity, such as editing photos to understanding AI's creator technology.
"So for example, how to edit AI photos. Then the creator of AI is like that. So it is indeed a phenomenon that is quite interesting and unique. So it is indeed an interest and also its enthusiasm, and wanting creativity in one tap can realize any idea that is real," he added.
