Game The 9th Charnel Ready To Launch January 30, 2026 For PS5, Xbox Series, And PC

JAKARTA - Issuance of SOEDESCO and developer OF SAIKAT DEB CREATIONS will release its newest psychological horror survival game, The 9th Charnel on January 30, 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

Berberhibung joins Michael and his team of genetic scientists after they were stranded in a remote valley on a field expedition, the developer wrote in his announcement on Steam.

The 9th Charnel will bring players into a world full of fear and mystery through the perspective of the first person, through a combination of elements of steal, exploration and combat.

Here, the story focuses on Michael, a genetic scientist from the Epsilon Research Institute, who was stranded in a remote valley with two colleagues, Sara Whitlock and Daniel J. Hart, while conducting field research.

Separated from the team and away from a safe place, Michael had to look for his colleagues while facing the fanatical cult, forbidden rituals, and evil forces that turned the valley into a nightmare.

Players are challenged to survive by managing resources, looking for equipment, and making difficult decisions that affect the story.

"Throughout the journey, players will reveal interconnected stories of some interesting characters, each burdened by their own secrets, fears, and motivations," wrote the game's caption.

The 9th Charnel also presents a unique narrative that is told through the perspective of several characters, each trapped in a world damaged by the dangerous cult ideology.
