IPhone 17e Is Predicted To Appear Without A Notch, Carry Design Similar To The IPhone 17

JAKARTA The latest leak hints that the iPhone 17e will be the most significant design leap in Apple's e line since its debut. After previously the specifications of this device's key appeared on the internet, now the conceptual rendering of MyDrivers reveals a very different appearance from the iPhone 16e which still persists with an old notch.

The rendering shows the iPhone 17e appearing like a one-camera version of the regular iPhone 17 being more modern, cleaner, and finally adopting Dynamic Island. That way, Apple seems to want to equalize the visual identity of the entire iPhone lineup starting in 2026, including a more affordable model.

Although the design is more futuristic, the iPhone 17e screen does not appear to have experienced a major spike. The panel is thought to remain 6.1 inches with a 60Hz refresh rate, maintaining the differentiation of the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro models. Apple clearly wants to keep the space between the hemat'' line and flagship without fully cutting the user experience.

In the performance sector, this device is said to carry the latest A19 chip, but with the number of GPU cores cut. This strategy resembles Apple's pattern in previous non-Pro variants: high CPU performance is still provided, while graphics capabilities are made slightly lower so as not to crash into the flagship market.

The target is clear: old iPhone users like the iPhone 11 who are looking for a big upgrade, without having to pay high-end prices. The combination of the A19 and the optimization of the next generation of iOS is estimated to be sufficient to make the lifespan of this device last a long time, as is the tradition of the Apple ecosystem.

A significant increase also appears on the side of the selfie camera. Previous reports said the front sensor would rise to 18 megapixel plus support from the Center Stage, a feature that utilizes AI to keep subjects in the middle of the frame during video calls. On the back, the iPhone 17e is said to remain relying on a 48-megapixel main camera, following in the footsteps of Apple, which has adopted a large sensor in the mid-range line.

The internal part is also being fixed. Apple is rumored to be embedding self-made C1 modems and N1 wireless chips. Both are designed to increase connection speed while saving power consumption of two increasingly important aspects in the era of data heavy mobile devices.

If this leak proves accurate, the iPhone 17e has the potential to be the most ambitious 'e' model so far. The combination of new designs, future performance, and camera upgrades make the distance between affordable lines and flagship thinner. The iPhone entry-level market seems to be much more interesting when 2026 arrives.
