Huawei Officially Launches Micro-Pump Liquid Refrigerator Casing For Mate 80 Series

JAKARTA - Huawei is again expanding its accessories ecosystem by releasing the latest micro-pump liquid cooling casings for the Mate 80 series line in China. This accessori is compatible with three models at once: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, and Mate 80 Pro Max, and is marketed at a price of 299 yuan or around Rp660 thousand. This product comes as the successor to the cooling casing for Mate 70 and Mate 60, but is now carrying a more mature design and technology.

Different from the previous generation which only used a partial covering structure, this new cooling casing uses a full-cover design. This approach allows the entire back of the phone to be equally cooled, increasing temperature stability especially when the device is used for heavy activity.

Physically, Huawei maintains light and sleek PU bodies to keep them comfortable to hold, even though they carry an internal cooling system. At the back of the bottom there is a transparent window that shows fluid flow in the casing, giving a high-tech and futuristic appearance typical of recent-era Huawei devices.

Inside the casing, Huawei embeds an ultra-thin liquid cooling layer that works alongside a high-precision micro-pump. The system utilizes a high-performance heat absorption sheet tasked with lowering the phone's surface temperature during intense use such as playing games, rendering videos, to navigation with high screen brightness levels.

One of the main advantages of this casing is its ability to adjust operations automatically. Micro-pump can turn on and off on its own based on the device's temperature and workload, without physical buttons or manual controls. Interestingly, this casing does not require cables or external resources because it gets power through the reverse wireless charging feature of the smartphone, making it practical and hassle-free.

With the launch of this micro-pump liquid cooling casing, Huawei is again showing its efforts to optimize the performance of the Mate 80 series, especially for users who need maximum temperature stability in various heavy usage scenarios.
