JAKARTA Neon, a browser introduced by Opera in October 2025, has received a number of major updates. This update includes improvements in experience, interface, to functionality.

Now, Opera Neon is getting a new mode called 'Inner Research 1 Minute'. This mode serves as a link between simple Artificial Intelligence (AI) queries and time-consuming in-depth research.

In this new mode, Opera Neon will solve problems in smaller segments so that the AI that is integrated in it can complete research tasks more quickly. This feature will be very useful when users need a summary without in-depth research.

This update also includes the launch of model voters on the Neon Chat. With this new feature, users can choose and even switch between AI models in the middle of the conversation.

Next, Opera added the integration of the Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro models into Neon. The addition of these two AI products from Google gives users greater flexibility in utilizing AI capabilities.

Another feature added to Opera Neon is the integration of 'Do' agents with Google Docs. This integration is one of the most requested features by users, according to Opera.

Users can use the 'Do' agent in the omnibox browser and give commands to create or edit existing Google Docs. The AI agent can add, reduce content, or even change the document name.
