The People's Internet is a WiFi internet service based on 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), which utilizes the Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN) network architecture in the 1.4 GHz frequency band. This technology makes People's Internet WiFi one of the first commercial networks in Indonesia to use Open RAN and 1.4 GHz frequency.

This service is driven by PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) or Surge, in collaboration with Orex SAI, a joint venture between NTT Docomo and NEC Corporation.

Since June 2025, Orex SAI has formed a local entity, PT Orex SAI Indonesia. In this partnership, Orex SAI provides an end-to-end Open RAN FWA 1.4 GHz solution, including 5G Core (5GC) technology developed by NEC Corporation.

Meanwhile, the distribution of services is carried out by Surge's subsidiary, PT Telemedia Komunikasi Pratama, which has collaborated with 26 local distributors for the Java-Bali region.
