JAKARTA After launching iOS 26.1 in the stable version, Apple confirmed the presence of the next operating system (OS). iOS 26.2 will certainly be present for all users in December.

Although there is no specific launch date, leaks for its new features are already widely circulated. This update is believed to bring a number of improvements that focus on personalization, improving quality of life, and accessibility.

The first update can be seen in terms of visuals, namely the new slider in the Lock Screen customization menu. With this slider, users can customize the Liquid Glass effect capacity on the watch view.

Users can decide how clear or blurry the watch display is. This is a follow-up update for the 'Bening' and 'Berwarna' options for the overall Liquid Glass effect on iOS 26.1.

The next update is offline lyric support for Apple Music users. This feature helps users who want to see song lyrics when the device is not connected to Wi-Fi or mobile networks.

iOS 26.2 and watchOS 26.2 also include revisions to the Sleep Score range in the Health app. The range of sleep score categories such as 'Very Low', 'Light', and 'High' will be updated to provide more accurate metrics.

Another increase can be seen in terms of accessibility, where the iPhone screen can now blink when receiving notifications. The option in Settings now includes Flash LED, Screen, or Both, which was previously limited to camera flash at the back.

Finally, the Live Translation feature on AirPods will be extended to the European Union (EU) through this update. This feature allows users to understand conversations in real-time different languages via AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods 4.
