JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta is partnering with GoPay to launch allride, a digital ticket innovation in the form of merchandise that combines the convenience of public mobility with the digital lifestyle of urban communities.
Allride products come in the form of pendants, lanyards, and pop-sockets, which function as single-trip tickets for travel at all MRT Jakarta stations. Users can start using allride starting today with the same fare as a regular ticket.
The main advantage of allride is its convenience. Users no longer need to worry about forgetting or losing their physical card, and they eliminate the hassle of purchasing tickets offline at MRT Jakarta stations.
Allride tickets can be linked online to the allride wallet by GoPay payment source in the GoPay app and MyMRTJ app.
"We believe that GoPay's innovative features are not just about transactions, but also about providing a pleasant experience for our users," said Head of GoPay Wallet, Kelvin Timotius, in a statement on Wednesday, November 12.
This collaboration is expected to be a concrete example of the synergy between the public sector and financial technology in providing direct benefits to the community.
For the launch of the all-ride, MRT Jakarta also collaborated with Nurfadli M, the creator of Tahilalats, to bring a fresh, creative touch that resonates with the younger generation.
This collaboration is presented through visual design and campaign elements that highlight Tahilalats' distinctive character, creating a fun and relatable experience for public transportation users.
Currently, visitors can try out the all-ride features and enjoy various interactive activities available for purchase at the MMM (MRT Merch Market).
