JAKARTA Qualcomm launched two new Artificial Intelligence (AI) processors specifically designed for data centers. The technology was released on Monday, October 27, 2025.
After this processor was launched, the company's stock reportedly jumped sharply by up to 20 percent. The increase in shares shows that investors are interested in Qualcomm's focus on increasing in the AI data center sector.
The two newly launched processes are named AI200 and AI250. Both are designed to increase memory capacity and run AI or inference applications efficiently.
The AI200 processor is scheduled to be commercially available in 2026, while AI250 will follow in 2027. Qualcomm hopes that these two processors can challenge the dominance of NVIDIA in terms of the AI data center's workload.
